Anterior Restoration
- Ensure appropriate isolation of the prepared tooth.
- Choose proper size of Signet anterior matrix. Refer to the matrix selection table.
- Place Signet matrix interproximally and insert into the sulcus. Optional, wet the surface of the matrix before insert for better placement.
- Insert the tip below the matrix. Acid etch enamel and dentin, then rinse and air dried gently.
- Place and light cure the adhesive.
- Use a finger placing behind the matrix to create lingual wall.
- Recommend to use pre-heated composite to fill up the whole cavity.
- Remove all matrix pieces with instruments.
- Remove the matrix.
- Perform finishing and polishing.
- Ensure appropriate isolation of the prepared tooth.
- Prepare interproximal ready for inserting matrix. Use interproximal enamel reduction IPR strip or file.
- Choose proper size of Signet anterior matrix. Refer to the matrix selection table.
- Place 2 Signet matrices next to each other and insert deeply into the sulcus for better stabilization. No wedge is necessary. Optional, wet the surface of the matrix before insertion for better placement.
- Insert the tip below the matrix. Acid etch enamel and dentin, then rinse and air dried gently.
- Place the adhesive.
- Recommend to inject flowable composite at the gingival margin ensuring no air bubble is trapped.
- Recommend to use pre-heated composite to fill up remaining gap.
- Remove all excessive composite and light cure all resin components.
- Remove all matrix pieces.
- Perform finishing and polishing.
- Ensure appropriate isolation of the prepared tooth.

- Choose proper size of Signet anterior Matrix. Refer to the matrix selection table.
- Place 2 Signet matrices next to each other and insert deeply into the sulcus for better stabilization. The 2 matrices should stick together without gap in between Optional, wet the surface of the matrix before insertion for better placement.
- Insert the tip below the matrix. Acid etch enamel and dentin, then rinse and air dried gently.
- .Place the adhesive. Light cure.
- Place a wedge to help creating strong separation of the teeth. It helps to create better contact.
- Recommended to inject flowable composite at the gingival margin ensuring no air bubble is trapped. Light curing is recommended at this stage. This helps to stabilize the resin position for further composite restorations.
- Recommend to use pre-heated composite to fill up remaining gap.
- Remove all excessive composite and light cure.
- Remove all matrix pieces.
- Perform finishing and polishing.
Posterior Restoration
- Place a rubber dam (recommended).
- Place a Signet sectional matrix.
- Secure the position with a Signet plastic wedge.
- Locate a matrix ring of your choice to tighten the Signet matrix (This will ensure an adequate proximal contact, contour and embrasure) .
- Acid etch enamel and dentin, then rinse and air dried gently.
- Place and light cure the adhesive.
- Insert composite resin starting with the proximal. Then place composite up to the occlusal portion. No layering is required. Light cure the composite.
- Remove all matrix pieces. Perform finishing and polishing.
